The Sarap Shop is a groundbreaking family-owned Filipino cafe, caterer, and creative food studio in San Francisco's SoMa Pilipinas Filipino Cultural District. Founded by first-generation Filipino-American couple Kristen Brillantes and JP Reyes, The Sarap Shop began when they chose to buy a food truck instead of having an expensive wedding. The name "sarap" carries dual meaning in Tagalog-both "tastes good" and "feels good"-reflecting their mission to spread connection and belonging through food.

The Sarap Shop specializes in plant-forward inclusive Filipino-American comfort food with extensive vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Their signature dishes include the famous Sisig Carbonara (available with pork, lechon, or tofu), Longanisa Dirty Dog, Halo Halo Milk Tea, and Sea Salt Leche Flan Coffee. They pioneered vegan lumpia in partnership with Impossible Foods.

The cafe now has multiple locations: their HQ on Stillman Street (a hidden gem with vibrant murals), a stand at the Golden State Warriors Chase Center Arena, and previously at Parklab Gardens. The Sarap Shop offers comprehensive catering services from casual events to elevated wedding kamayan dinners, earning rave reviews for professionalism and flexibility. They bottle and ship their 100% plant-based, gluten-free sauces nationwide.
