Created by sisters Michelle Valko and Pamela Carpio, this innovative concept draws on their Filipino heritage and American upbringing to serve unique blend of Filipino flavors with classic American comfort food.

Named after Philippines' iconic repurposed military vehicles known for bright colors and individualistic style, Jeepney embodies that same spirit: part vintage, part modern, very self-expressive, functional and low key. Operating since summer 2018, the walk-up window proved essential during COVID-19 pandemic, remaining open throughout 2020 when indoor dining faced restrictions. The pandemic prompted creative expansion including curated cocktail series, house-made shrubs, and travel cocktail ingredients to accompany Filipino food menu.

While Knee High Stocking Co. speakeasy bars entry to those under 21, walk-up window welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy food from loaded patatas bravas to pork adobo bowls. The menu focuses on Filipino-style American comfort food inspired by mother's "kitchen sink" cooking style-fusion of American comfort foods accented with flavors from Zamboanga City including vinegar, soy sauce, and Spanish preparations.
