Named after the iconic Filipino bamboo stilt house, this family-owned restaurant is operated by Noel and Aida Tizon, who opened their first location after Noel served as head chef at the China Lake Naval base. Every dish follows strictly traditional recipes that Noel keeps in his head, while his wife Aida's "superhuman" sense of smell ensures perfect seasoning. The restaurant specializes in Kapampangan regional cuisine with generous portions of classic favorites like lumpia, pancit, and chicken adobo served with their signature garlic fried rice. Their lechon kawali-crispy pork belly with pickled radish-delivers the perfect balance of rich flavors and crackling texture. Beyond Filipino mains, Bahay Kubo offers fresh-baked pandesal, traditional halo-halo dessert, and an extensive selection of boba milk teas including their popular brown sugar variety.
