Lucky Tigre opened in 2022 as Tampa's first Filipino sari-sari store concept, reimagining the traditional Filipino convenience store as a modern restaurant and gathering space. Owner Julie Sainte Michelle Feliciano created a vibrant atmosphere with retro Americana aesthetics, tiger murals, and face-carved planters that pay homage to traditional sari-sari stores while establishing a unique identity. The restaurant specializes in remixed Filipino and Asian American casual bites that reflect the diaspora experience, offering steamed dumplings in handcrafted broths, fluffy bao buns, and creative fusion dishes.

Lucky Tigre has moved to a West Tampa location at 1901 N Howard Ave, expanding its menu and capacity while maintaining its commitment to bold flavors and warm hospitality. The restaurant emphasizes plant-based options alongside traditional favorites, offering dairy-free halo halo and vegetarian-friendly dishes that make Filipino cuisine accessible to diverse dietary preferences.
