Estrellita has achieved remarkable recognition as Atlanta's first full-service Filipino restaurant, earning Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand designation in both 2023 and 2024 and becoming the only Filipino Bib Gourmand restaurant on the East Coast. Located in Atlanta's historic Grant Park neighborhood near Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthplace, this boutique Filipino restaurant is co-owned by Hope Webb and Chef Walter Cortado, who bring family recipes from Pampanga--the culinary capital of the Philippines--to Georgia. The intimate 20-seat space creates a modern, welcoming atmosphere where Chef Walter prepares his mother's traditional recipes.

Michelin inspectors praised dishes like Cebu-style lechon kawali (crispy pork belly rolled with lemongrass, green onion, and garlic), beef lumpia, and traditional Filipino favorites including adobo, sinigang, and bistek. The restaurant operates walk-in only. Estrellita's success represents a watershed moment for Filipino cuisine in the South, demonstrating that authentic Filipino food prepared with excellence can earn critical acclaim.
