Bahay Kubo brings authentic Kapampangan Filipino cuisine to Ridgecrest, serving the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake community with traditional home-style cooking in a cafeteria-style format. Named after the iconic Filipino bamboo stilt house, this family-owned restaurant is operated by Noel and Aida Tizon, who opened their first location after Noel served as head chef at the China Lake Naval base. Every dish follows strictly traditional recipes that Noel keeps in his head, while his wife Aida's 'superhuman' sense of smell ensures perfect seasoning.
